I discovered this crochet bobble, and fell in love with it’s appearance. I ended up using this bobble for my Rei pullover pattern (Rav link/Payhip link), and thought it might be good to create a video to demonstrate how to work this exact bobble.
Tip: Use needles with some grab, such as carbon, bamboo, or wooden needles so that your sts don’t fall off when you are working this bobble.
Crochet Bobble Directions:
Step 1: slip the next st off the LHN onto the crochet hook
Step 2: *yo, place hook in same st, draw through a loop; repeat from * two additional times. 7 sts on hook
Step 3: yo, draw yarn through all 7 loops
Step 4: find the knit stitch directly below the one you’ve been working into, insert your crochet hook, draw through a loop. 2 sts on hook
Step 5: yo, draw through these 2 sts
Step 6: place this stitch onto the RHN
And now you have a bobble! <3
